We offer three levels of cover so that you can choose the one that's right for you.
Motor Breakdown Cover provides you with protection and reassurance whilst you're driving on the road.
Vehicle Breakdown Cover – With AXA Vehicle Breakdown Cover, your vehicle (or vehicles) shown on your policy schedule will be covered.
Cover is for private cars or motorcycles only that are less than 16 years old, and that are;

Motor Breakdown Cover provides you with protection and reassurance whilst you're driving on the road. If your car breaks down, we will send one of our recovery operators to try and fix the problem and get you moving again.

If you've broken down, please make sure you're in a safe place, and as far left off the road as you can be. Stay well away from moving traffic. Put your hazard warning lights on and leave your vehicle using the nearside doors. If you are on the motorway, move over to the hard shoulder (if you can) and follow the above guidelines. If you break down in an outside lane, please stay in the vehicle and call the emergency services, as well as your break down provider.
AXA provides assistance to 90% of motor breakdowns within one hour. If you've broken down and hold either Nationwide & Home or European policy, you can use our online claim registration tool – e-Rescue - and recovery will be sent to you as quickly as possible.
