Covers Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

European breakdown cover includes Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, the Vatican City, Malta, the Republic of Cyprus, and other islands that belong to these countries and that are in Europe.

Do you want to add a £30 voluntary excess?

We offer cover with or without a voluntary excess, which is an amount you will pay every time you make a claim and request assistance under the policy. Choosing to add the excess will reduce the price of your policy but means you will pay £30 every time you break down before we provide assistance. If you do not add this, your price will be higher but you will not pay any fixed contribution when you need assistance. Hosted will be taken by credit or debit card (apart from American Express) at the point you request assistance, if you are covered.

Vehicles we cover

Is your car or motorcycle:
  • Less than 16 years old
  • Weigh less than 3,500kg (3.5 tonnes)
  • Is no more than 5.5 metres long, 2.3 metres wide (including wing mirrors) and 3 metres high
We will only cover the vehicle when driven by a person with a valid licence to drive in the UK.
Sorry, we cannot provide you a quote as we do not cover vehicles that do not meet these requirements.

Policyholder

Does the covered person hold a valid licence to drive in the UK?
We will only cover the policyholder(s) that are travelling in cars or on motorcycles that are:
  • Less than 16 years old.
  • Weigh less than 3,500kg (3.5 tonnes)
  • No more than 5.5 metres long, 2.3 metres wide (including wing mirrors) and 3 metres high.
Sorry, we can only cover people who hold a valid licence to drive in the UK.
